I'm currently in my 9th year of teaching for the York Region District School Board. After graduating from York University with an Honour's degree in Mass Communications and Sociology, I earned my Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) at Medaille College and a specialist qualification for integrating computer technology in the classroom. I have taught grades 1-6 and I specialize in Elementary Language Arts, Mathematics and Learning Skills. I'm currently on the Lead team at my school and teach a grade 5/6 homeroom class. As well, I tutor students on adaptive technology software for the Toronto District School Board. I'm a proud mother of 2 beautiful daughters and I love spending my free time in the outdoors, reading novels and just relaxing with my family.
