Summer Math Preparation: Grades 10 to 11

I've been a secondary math teacher in the York board for 13 years and I've consistently seen that one of the greatest challenges for math students is to move forward when there are gaps in their knowledge.

I have built an 8 week program where I examine your child’s base mathematical knowledge and then introduce your child to each unit in their upcoming math course, whether it be grade 10 or 11. Between weekly meetings I can provide work for students to complete based on their needs. All tutoring is private and can take place in your home or a neutral public location. As well, I provide examples of unit tests and old final exams. All my material has been tried and tested in my classroom. Materials will be customized on a weekly basis depending on your child's needs so that they can enter grade 10 or 11 with the confidence that the gaps in their mathematical knowledge have been addressed.
